Anne Hatton

Founder and Senior Designer

Anne was raised in America, but has lived in the UK for more than 30 years. Her early influence was a down-to-earth, casual American style. After exclusively training in the UK, she is now well versed in a variety of worldwide trends. She keeps a sharp eye on new interpretations of the conventional.

Anne is a qualified interior designer and continues to add to her vast experience by regularly attending courses at renowned design centres such as KLC School of Design, Inchbald School of Design and Buckinghamshire Chilterns University. She is a Full Member of the British Institute of Interior Design; she is also a member of the BIID Council, as well as sits on their CPD Committee .

She prides herself on accurately interpreting each client's individual tastes and personalities, whilst maintaining a close, personal contact throughout the process. Anne says, "Each client and each project is unique and I am excited at every opportunity."

 

Justine Hampshire

Associate Designer

The team’s newest member, Justine studied in Australia achieving an Associate Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration. Over the next ten years, she worked in high-end furniture and for renowned New Zealand based fabric company, Boras Mokum.

Moving to the UK, she worked for James and Wallis Interiors and Ward Design, designing schemes for individual clients and show houses. Following a long break from design, she has decided to return to interiors after running a successful catering company. After dressing plates for so long, she’s now keen to dress homes instead!

Suzannah Nicholson

Administrative Assistant

Suzannah has been with Embellishments for three years, providing crucial support to Anne and Justine by assisting with research, liaising with suppliers, office admin and accounting.

Suzannah has also been known to venture out of the office to work on-site with the Embellishments team, also working closely with our contractors. Suzannah also has two children and a cat, and when not working, can often be found spending time with her family.
